Buy A Brick.
Help us help the animals
It's all about the animals, inside… and out. The Inland Valley Humane Society and S.P.C.A. is building a new pet adoption facility to help care for injured, abused, neglected and rescued animals, readying them for their new, loving home…hopefully yours!
You can help us create this more modern center with the purchase of a tax-deductible brick, which will be permanently placed along the Pet Partners Pathway at the building entrance. Your brick will be placed either inside or outside the building, depending on availability. Each brick purchase ensures that we'll be able to help needy dogs, cats, rabbits and more by expanding our pet adoption area, a space that will help all potential adoptive families to get to know their future pets. Your purchase will also allow us to expand our animal cruelty efforts.
Each brick will be laser engraved with your message, ensuring lasting durability. In fact, our last building stood proudly for nearly 60 years, and with your personally engraved bricks, our new building and your message will be visible for years to come.
So please, honor a loved one who loved animals. Honor a pet that is no longer with you. Honor a pet that was adopted from IVHS. But no matter who you choose to honor, help us help the animals...one brick at a time.
Please order your bricks today for prominent placement at the new Inland Valley Humane Society and S.P.C.A. Adoption Center. Join our Pet Partners Pathway and make your name count for the animals.

A Home Away From Home
Over 50 Years of Service to Local Animals
Established in 1949, the Inland Valley Humane Society is a private, non-profit, full-access animal shelter. It is a safe refuge, providing food, veterinary care, and attention to the animals that need it most, regardless of health, temperament, breed or age. As opposed to a typical animal shelter that takes in only animals that are strong candidates for adoption, Inland Valley Humane Society (IVHS) takes in all animals that are sick, injured, abandoned or homeless - whether or not they will ever find a permanent home outside the shelter. In a bold effort to truly be a home away from home, IVHS does not restrict itself to a designated time period for which animals are available for adoption. Healthy pets with good dispositions are kept for an indefinite period of time. IVHS explores every available avenue to place healthy animals.
In order to maintain this gold standard and to continue to provide the very best care for local animals, it is time to undergo much needed renovation and modernization of the shelter facility.
According to Executive Director, Bill Harford, IVHS wants to call attention to the increasing importance of animal shelters in society along with the need to make shelters safer and healthier places for our companions for life, which is at the heart of our home away from home philosophy.
