June Adoption Promotion – Hot Dogs & cool Cats

June 8, 2020, Pomona, CA – The Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. (IVHS) is offering an adoption promotion for the entire month of June. With the Hot Dogs and Cool Cats Adoption Promotion, all dog adoptions are only $30 dollars and all cat adoptions are free in honor of National Adopt a Shelter Cat Month.

Adoption fees for both dogs and cats include vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, spay/neuter surgery, microchip & registration, deworming and two weeks of follow-up care. The promotion applies to all dogs and cats that are available for adoption on the IVHS Available Pets Page.

IVHS is currently offering a “Foster to Hold” and “Foster to Adopt” adoption process to comply with our temporarily adjusted shelter operations. For the duration of the “Safer at Home” order, those interested in adopting can visit the Available Pets website to see all animals that are ready for adoption. Once potential adopters find a pet(s) they are interested in, they can complete this application: Foster/Adoption Application. An Adoption Counselor will work with potential foster/adoptive families to deliver the pets to residents in an effort to comply with the ‘Stay at Home’ Order.

The Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. encourages the community to adopt a pet in need so we can put an end to animal homelessness and save animal lives together. Additional information on the IVHS adoption process can be found here.
