keeping the pets in our community happy and healthy.
IVHS & SPCA opened the Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Medical Center in January 2023 to serve the needs of more pets in the community. All adopted pets from IVHS & SPCA are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed and given flea/tick treatment before leaving the shelter. Each year our staff veterinarians perform over 20,000 procedures! With the help of the very dedicated veterinary and shelter staff, we are able to save many lives and prevent further suffering.
Our vet staff also works closely with our cruelty investigation team to build cases to prosecute those who abuse and neglect animals. The combined expertise of both the vet staff and investigators is essential in ensuring the protection of animals and justice for those who harm them.
We are accepting spay/neuter and vaccine appointment requests for those living in our service area. Please read the spay/neuter or vaccine appointment requirements under the corresponding tabs below.
