Trap-Neuter-Return Program

helping our feral & stray feline friends in our communities.

Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program helps reduce feral & stray cat populations and improve the lives of community cats! Please read the requirements listed below and walk-in days and times.

Walk-ins only

Thank you for joining us in taking a step toward reducing feral & stray cat populations and improving the lives of community cats! We accept TNR cats on a walk-in basis on Tuesdays and ThursdaysAll participants must be in line no later than 8:30 am. If we have already reached maximum capacity for that day, you will need to return the next scheduled TNR day.

To qualify for this program…

You must live in one of our service cities.

All cats participating must be un-owned community cats.

You are required to trap the cat(s), bring them to IVHS & SPCA and pick them up the same day.

Each feral/community cat MUST be in their OWN INDIVIDUAL trap. Cats in carriers will not be accepted. To rent a trap please see our customer care associates in the main building.

You will need to keep the cat confined in a safe space overnight. This prevents groggy cats that are recovering from surgery/anesthesia from being hit by a car or attacked by another animal post-surgery.

A $70 fee will be charged for each cat participating in the program. This fee includes spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccine, flea treatment and ear notch. Cats in this program are not microchipped.

A maximum of 20 cats will be accepted each TNR day.
