The Big Meow, a low-cost spay and neuter program, is offered to the community as a start to finding a solution for cat overpopulation.
Signups for our Big Meow can be made by filling out a Spay/Neuter Appointment Request Form to request a spay/neuter appointment.
The Big Meow is open to residents of the following cities:
Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Covina, Diamond Bar, Glendora, La Verne, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, San Dimas, and the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County including West End, San Antonio Heights, and Mt. Baldy. (Must have proof of residency) Payment is required at the time of appointment scheduling and is non-refundable.
In addition to each low-cost spay and neuter, cats receive free FVRCP & rabies vaccinations, one month’s supply of Frontline for flea and tick control, basic medical care at the time of surgery, and a microchip.
- Cats must be 4 months – 4 years of age.
- In cities requiring a cat license (Diamond Bar, Pomona & La Verne) all cats over 4 months must have a current license.
- Maximum of 3 per household.
- Owned, outdoor cats only (no feral wild cats will be accepted).
- Cats must be in a properly secured kennel or carrier.
