The Big Meow Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA The Big Meow Spay & Neuter   The Big Meow –  (Females) & (Males) The Big Meow, a $40 spay and neuter program, is offered to the community as a start to finding a solution for cat overpopulation. Signups for the next Big Meow can be made in the adoption center. The Big Meow is open to residents of the following cities: Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Diamond Bar, Glendora, La Verne, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, San Dimas, and the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County including West End, San Antonio Heights, and Mt. Baldy. (Must have proof of residency) You must make your appointment in our office prior to the spay or neuter date. In addition to each no-cost spay and neuter, cats receive free FVRCP & rabies vaccinations, one month supply of Frontline for flea and tick control, basic medical care at time of surgery and educational material. Qualifying cats: Cats must be 4 months – 4 years of age. In cities requiring a cat license (Diamond Bar, Pomona & La Verne) all cats over 4 months must have a current license. Maximum of 3 per household. Owned, outdoor cats only (no wild cats will be accepted). Cats must be in a properly secured kennel or carrier. Cats must be micro-chipped. Space is limited and is subject to first come first serve basis. No phone calls please. To sign up you will need to: Come to the shelter. The Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA sign up hours are 9:30 am – 12:00 pm Monday through Friday. Fill out the paperwork. Provide proof of residency. Drop off times are between the hours of 7:00 am – 8:30 am, pick up is the same day between 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Chihuahua Challenge Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA The Chihuahua Challenge: A $40 spay and neuter program for Chihuahuas.. This program is open to all residents currently within the organization’s service area. We provide animal care and control services to the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Diamond Bar, Glendora, La Verne, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, San Dimas and the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County including West End, San Antonio Heights and Mt. Baldy. This program is intended to help curb the amount of Chihuahuas entering the shelter every year. Qualifying Chihuahuas: Dog must be a Chihuahua or a predominately Chihuahua mix between the ages of 4 months — 4 years to qualify. Dog must be owned by an individual — no rescue groups, foster organizations, shelter animals or strays will be allowed to participate. All participants must purchase a microchip and be licensed or have applied for a license for their pet. Space is limited and is subject to a first come first serve basis. In addition to these clinics, the Inland Valley Humane Society offers low cost spay and neuter appointments for dogs on a daily basis at very reasonable rates. Every year the Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA spays and neuters thousands of animals in an effort to better control the pet overpopulation problem.
