Help the animals from the comfort of your home.

Collect items from our Wish List or complete a DIY project and help provide enrichment for the animals while in our care.

Here are few projects you can do at home. After you have completed a project, please contact our Volunteer Dept. at CommunityOutreach@ivhsspca.org to schedule an appointment to have your documents signed.

VIEW OUR WISH LIST

No-Sew Knotted pet BLANKET

  • .One pet bed earns 5 hours of volunteer credit.
  • Supplies Needed: Fleece fabric, scissors, ruler.
  • Size: 36 x 36 inches.

Catnip sock Toys

  • 20 Catnip Sock Toys earns 5 hours of volunteer credit.
  • Supplies Needed: Child sock, dried catnip, polyfill stuffing.

RICE SOCK KITTEN WARMER

  • 10 Rice Socks earn 5 hours of volunteer credit.
  • .Supplies Needed: Crew Sock, Uncooked Rice, Funnel.

Dog Rope Toy

  • 5 Dog Rope Toys earns 5 hours of volunteer credit.
  • Supplies Needed: Fleece, ruler, scissors.

SUPPLY DONATION TO COMMUNITY PET PANTRY

  • Donations to the Community Pet Pantry earn 5 hours of volunteer credit.
  • Accepted items: Un-opened dog food, un-opened cat food, and pet supplies (leashes, collars, litters, toys).
  • All donations are for our fellow community members who are need of a little extra help and this also helps reduce pets coming into the shelter.
