Community Clinic Now Open for Pet Wellness Appointments 

Pomona, California – The Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Medical Center is thrilled to announce the expansion of its services to include affordable basic sick care and wellness appointments for companion animals within the jurisdiction of the Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. (IVHS). The medical center, which marked its grand opening in January 2023, is now extending its commitment to the community by offering essential veterinary care for pets. 

New Services Offered: 

The medical center now provides a range of services, including online self-scheduling for vaccine and microchip appointments, spay and neuter surgeries by appointment, and a monthly walk-up vaccination clinic in the parking lot of IVHS. The introduction of affordable wellness and basic sick care services aims to have a positive impact on the lives of pets belonging to local residents. 

Scheduling Information: 

For those interested in scheduling a wellness examination for their pets, appointments can be made by calling the medical center front office at 909-623-9777 Ext. 669. Appointments are available on weekdays, Monday through Wednesday, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, and on Thursdays between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. A cancellation fee will be applied if clients fail to make their scheduled appointment time. 

Pricing Details: 

Physical examinations for animals are priced at $40.00 for all patients. Additional charges may apply for prescribed medications, diagnostic testing, lab work, and other related services.
